Applied Metallurgical is a dynamic startup manufacturer producing complete, high-precision components for industries including medical, transportation,and industrial machinery. We not only cast our own parts but also machine them to exact customer specifications.

Job Duties Include:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures
Load materials into machines and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy
Adjust machine settings and offsets to achieve desired dimensions and finishes
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)
Perform routine machine maintenance to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized and efficient work area

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar precision machining role
Proficiency in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machines
Strong understanding of tooling selection, setup and maintenance
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles preferred
Experience with welding, forklift operation and use of hand/power tools is a plus
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
