About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director - Executive Director for Data Management. This pivotal role is focused on providing strategic direction and team development within the Clinical Development department. The successful candidate will be responsible for departmental leadership, organizational strategy, and day-to-day tasks that include supporting the development of the resourcing model, coaching and developing internal talent, and ensuring the right balance of internal and external expertise. Additionally, the role involves establishing and monitoring effective resourcing, driving standardization and innovation, and maintaining an environment that fosters creativity and transparency. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of leadership in data management, data governance, development informatics, and data quality. Strong domain knowledge in data management, development informatics, clinical programming, and data platforms is essential. The role requires a leader with strong team-building skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and excellent communication skills to align the organization on complex technical decisions. The ideal candidate will be an active coach and mentor, dedicated to growing and maximizing the potential of their team.
