About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its national network of high net-worth individuals of color. The successful candidate will be a bold, strategic, and visionary leader, capable of uniting and guiding a diverse membership to advance racial justice and empower communities of color. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in philanthropy, who can navigate the challenging political and social landscape with courage, clarity, and conviction. The Executive Director will be responsible for steering the organization through a critical period, ensuring that its mission and values are upheld, and that its impact continues to grow. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be experienced in the philanthropic sector, with a deep understanding of the issues and challenges facing communities of color. The role requires a leader who can inspire and mobilize others, and who is committed to the principles of racial justice and equity. A visionary approach to philanthropy, and the ability to shift and challenge existing norms, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong network and the skills to foster collaboration and partnership both within the organization and with external stakeholders. A background in social justice, community organizing, or a related field is also highly valued.
