What You'll Do As our Material Handler, you'll play a key role in supporting efficient operations by accurately picking and staging lumber, masonry, and building materials for customer orders and deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in a polite, professional manner and supporting their needs in the yard and warehouse.
- Safely load and unload trucks , ensuring accurate handling, stacking, and storage of materials to maintain product integrity and minimize damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment , including general housekeeping, facility upkeep, and proper signage placement per company standards.
- Support inventory and transfers by accurately pulling and staging products, processing paperwork, and reporting discrepancies or damaged items promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols , including completing forklift inspections, maintaining required certifications, and adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations.
Qualifications What We're Looking For We'd love to meet you if you bring:
• Education: High School or GED; Forklift Certified
• Experience: Operating machinery, knowledge of building materials
• Skills: Lift 80lbs, above head
• Bonus Points: Construction or home improvement industry experience is a plus
