Volt is immediately hiring for Forklift/Warehouse Workers in Athens, TX.
As a Forklift/Warehouse Worker you will:
- Operate stand up reach forklifts
- Transport merchandise onto work tables, pallets, conveyors, push carts, bins, shelves, trailers, staging areas, forklifts and/or trucks.
- Count all merchandise shipped and received to maintain inventory. Compares amount and type of merchandise received with invoices and purchase orders.
- Operate motorized material handling equipment
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Locate and prepare product for shipping and affixes proper label.
- Check order to ensure accuracy. May load into truck.
This a full-time opportunity
Schedule:
e are hiring for all Shifts: 1st - Monday through Friday 6am- 2:30pm 2nd- Monday through Friday 2pm-10:30pm 3rd- Monday through Friday 9pm-6am The ideal candidate will have:
- English communication skills
- Ability to consistently lift 40-50 pounds
- Forklift operating experience
- Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements: 7yr background check, Drug test.
- Must have a verifiable high school diploma or GED
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour - depending on shift
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
