\n Pay Rate: $30-32/hour, depending on experience
\n Location: Princeton, IN
\n Contract Type: 1 Year
\n Schedule: Monday through Friday, some Weekends

\n Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $30/hr + depending on experience 
\n
\n What’s a typical day as a Japanese Translator? 
\n \n

\n\t
• Utilize expert and fluent knowledge of Japanese and English to provide clear oral and written communications across cultures for Japanese staff-related functions and business travelers from Japan.\n\t
• Reproducing statements in another language for unique listening or reading audience
  \n\tFacilitating effective communication between two parties that do not speak a similar language.\n\t
• Attending conferences and meetings and acting as official translator to mediate discussion\n\t
• Accurately explaining policies, laws, regulations, and procedures of corporate, government, health and medical, housing, social, and educational agencies.\n\t
  \n\t\t
  • Including Passports and visas, medical billing, insurance, HR Orientations, Tax Return Support\n\t
  \n\t\n\t
• Relaying concepts and ideas between languages.\n\t
• Reporting to the Language Services Manager\n

• Ability to clearly communicate and relay ideas across Japanese and US cultures in verbal and written capacities.\n\t
• Fluency in Japanese and English language, both oral and written communication.\n\t
• Technology proficiency in digital communication; email, chat, text/messaging.\n\t
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask required.\n\t
• Ability to work independently required.\n\t
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills required.\n\t
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and editing PDF files.\n

\n Requirements

• A Valid Driver’s License, or alternate means of facilitating local travel. \n\t
• Standing for extended periods or remaining in a stationary position at workstation. \n\t
• Presentation of professional demeanor. \n\t
• Ability to use computers and various systems, for data entry and processing information. \n\t
• Fluency in Japanese and English languages. \n
