This position is not traditional classroom teaching. You will serve as a coach supporting gifted children in accelerating their progress 5-10x through adaptive platforms and motivational guidance rather than lesson planning or behavior management. What You Will Be Doing
• Create and facilitate dynamic, differentiated phonics-based reading workshops for small groups of gifted K-2 learners
• Employ storytelling and interactive techniques to accelerate learning 5-10x faster than conventional standards
• Monitor student development and adjust workshop content in real-time based on each cohort's evolving needs
• Provide individualized and small-group coaching that produces measurable advancement in adaptive reading and writing applications

Basic Requirements
Reading Specialist key responsibilities
• Willing to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance available)
• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years delivering small-group reading interventions to K-2 students
• Experience supporting gifted or high-performing children within specialized programs
• Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning tools and analyzing student performance data
• Strong instructional presence with the ability to captivate young learners through voice, storytelling, and enthusiasm
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
