Overview Base pay range: $85,000.00/hr - $95,000.00/hr Position: SQL/ETL Developer Location: Buffalo, NY Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 What We Are Looking For Were seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Data Solutions Developer to join our lean, agile enterprise. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality, modern data solutions by collaborating closely with our analysis, application development, and project management teams. Leveraging Microsoft Fabric and other cutting-edge technologies, this person will help redefine application data workflows that share data across numerous applications. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on solving a wide range of business challenges, enjoys interfacing with stakeholders, and brings an innovative mindset to data strategy and execution. A deep expertise in at least one modern programming language and a passion for continuous learning as new tools and technologies emerge. What Will You Do Design, develop, validate, debug, and support robust database and ETL solutions Build dimensional data warehouses using SSIS and other tools Migrate data from diverse sources into centralized repositories Analyze data flows, define mapping criteria, and ensure data accuracy Cleanse and transform data for seamless system integration Validate post-migration data integrity and performance Document strategies, processes, and fixes with precision Maintain and optimize existing ETL and integration workflows Research and recommend tools to address evolving data analysis challenges Create and manage technical documentation and revision histories Support enterprise-wide data governance and quality assurance Audit existing systems, identify improvement areas, and implement fixes Strategize data movement and content conversion with risk awareness Test new systems and migrated data for errors and corruption Perform other related duties as assigned What You Will Need Minimum of seven (7) years' experience in Information Technology, including five (5) years as a Data Developer in a large data warehouse and BI environment Minimum of five (5) years' experience writing and tuning advanced SQL Minimum of five (5) years' experience working with data development technologies Minimum five years experience with ETL development including Microsoft Reporting Services, Visual Studio, and MS SQL Server Management Studio Minimum 2 years experience with Azure Data Factory and hands-on experience with Azure PaaS services Experience designing, building, and implementing Power BI solutions Advanced knowledge of .NET coding standards, Visual Studio, C#, DHTML, XML, SQL Strong understanding of application dependencies and web services Experience with public APIs of utility companies and government agencies (preferred) Excellent critical thinking and innovative skills for technical solutions Commitment to integrity and confidentiality Self-starter who can work independently or in a team Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to manage organizational change through people, processes, and systems Must be able to sit for prolonged periods and operate a computer; ability to lift up to 10 pounds What We Offer Competitive compensation package Generous medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Company-paid short-term disability 401(k) with company match Health savings accounts Generous Paid Time Off policies 7 paid holidays Employee and family assistance program #J-18808-Ljbffr NOCO Energy Corp.
