Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for Home Health assignments, requiring at least 1 year of home health experience and a current state license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Home health setting covering various counties, with specific regional assignments discussed during interview
• Patient population includes wound care and geriatric patients in the home health environment
• Expect a minimum of 23-24 visits per week to qualify for a 40-hour week
• No weekend or on-call requirements, typical schedule is day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Kinnser/Wellsky is used for charting, and all charting must be completed at the clinic
• Mileage reimbursed according to IRS standard for travel from first to last patient
• Any color scrubs with closed toe shoes required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• May be assigned to surrounding counties and expected to be flexible with territory
• All time-off requests must be submitted with application; no additional RTO accepted after offer
• Contract length ranges from 4 to 6 months; less experienced clinicians are required to commit to 6 months
• Flu vaccination can be declined with proper documentation
• Free residential parking is available
• Tablets provided for on-site charting
• Strong patient care focus and ability to work independently are valued qualities

• Active Physical Therapist state license with no hits required for consideration
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home health and 2 years overall clinical experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must have a current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Must be punctual, self-motivated, and able to complete charting promptly during clinic time
• OASIS experience preferred
• COVID vaccination required, with declination allowed for religious reasons
• Must provide proof of CPR certification
• All required documents and compliance must be completed before starting
