\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
\n• Weekend requirements include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
\n• Expected to work approximately half of all hospital recognized holidays
\n• No call or standby requirements
\n• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 3:1 for stepdown patients, 6:1 for med-surg patients
\n• Work on a flex unit serving both floor and stepdown patients based on hospital needs
\n• Care for diverse patient population with primarily medical diagnoses
\n• Required to titrate various drips including heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, antiarrhythmics, phenobarbitol, ketamine, and pain management PCAs
\n• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and ventilators
\n• Use Phillips telemetry monitoring equipment with remote surveillance support
\n• Chart in EPIC system
\n• First to float to other floor/stepdown units when needed
\n• Dress code requires any combination of royal blue and white scrubs
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA)
\n• BSN not required
\n• Open to new and experienced nurses
\n• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment, 1 shift for shorter assignments

The facility operates with 24/7 charge nurses and house supervisors, maintains clinical associates to support nursing staff, and utilizes advanced monitoring technology with remote telemetry surveillance. The organization provides comprehensive acute care services and emphasizes quality patient care with appropriate staffing ratios and modern equipment.
