Class A Driver

Must live within 50 miles of Tar Heel, NC CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Eastern Mid Atlantic Dedicated Lane
• Reefer trailers
• Home Weekly for reset (hometime varies)
• No Touch Freight
• Night driving required
• Must work holidays
• 10 loads per week
• Load pay and mileage pay
• Must have own transportation to and from work
• Average $1200-$1600, depending on experience

CDL-A Driver / Truck Driver Requirements:

• 3 months verifiable recent tractor-trailer experience in the past 12 months; 1 year in the past 2 years; 1.5 yrs in the last 3 years
• Local experience will be considered -trailer must be 40' or greater
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months; or no more then 3 mv in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 months for any drivers with 6 months exp
• No major preventable accidents in the past 5 years; no more than 3 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• No major moving violation in the past 12 months
• Safety terminations must be at least 6 months old
• DUI must be outside of 5 years
• Hair Follicle and Urine drug screen required
