We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support members by reviewing insurance applications, ensuring accuracy, and assisting with the submission and servicing of policies. Its a role well-suited for individuals who enjoy working with details, solving problems, and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities
  • Assist members with underwriting, submissions, servicing, and policy issuance in accordance with established procedures.
  • Review insurance applications, correspondence, and transactions for accuracy, ensuring timely and precise data entry into our systems.
  • Provide responsive, friendly, and professional service to build and maintain strong member relationships.
  • Educate members on available insurance programs and guide them in effectively using our systems and resources.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and collaborative discussions to stay connected and contribute to a supportive, engaged remote culture.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude, supporting both individual and team goals in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional office or administrative experience
  • Associates degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
  • Insurance industry knowledge or customer service background a plus, but not required
  • Ability to complete insurance pre-licensing coursework and obtain appropriate license
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to learn quickly and collaborate effectively
  • Open to candidates beginning their careers or reentering the workforce
