Apply Instructional Design Principles: Develop content that aligns with adult learning theory and instructional best practices, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and learner engagement. Engage in Proactive Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide project updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with strategic training goals and operational needs. Manage Project Timelines and Milestones: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress against key milestones, and address risks or delays to ensure timely delivery of training products. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Work closely with SMEs to gather technical content, clarify complex information, and translate it into learner-friendly formats that meet training objectives. Review and Quality Assurance: Lead content reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with learning goals, incorporating feedback from stakeholders. Contribute to Evaluation Efforts: Collect and organize learner feedback and assessment data to support the evaluation of training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, or related field 3+ years of experience in instructional design Familiarity with adult learning theory and instructional technologies, including ADDIE Experience with technical training programs, with a preference for transit Knowledge and experience with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 Experience with Learning Management System platforms and authoring tools including Adobe Captivate (Classic and/or New version) and InDesign Experience holding working sessions with SMEs.
