Job Description We are seeking a reliable and efficient Warehouse Driver (Non-CDL) to join our team in Tallahassee, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods within our warehouse facility and making local deliveries to our customers.
- Operate company vehicles to transport materials and products within the warehouse and to local destinations
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse inventory
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles and equipment as needed
Qualifications - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or driving experience preferred
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly
- Familiarity with Tallahassee area roads and traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
