The AI ad film process: what happens from concept to launch
Published on
Let's start with the myth: "you type a prompt, a film comes out". No, it does not. If it did, everyone's film would look the same. Behind our Tadelle film and its 45 million views sits a four stage kitchen; here it is, transparently.
1. Concept is still human work
Idea, tone and story are born at the table; at this stage AI is at best a fast sketching tool. It cannot answer "what, for whom, with which feeling", and when it tries, the answer is generic.
2. Generation: a hundred takes, ten keepers
The reality of AI generation is volume. Each scene is produced in dozens of variations, and the ones that obey the brand language and continuity rules get picked. Curation is half the job; a selecting eye is what turns machine output into a film.
3. The CGI correction layer
Hybrid means this: inside scenes built by AI, the product, the logo and every critical detail are rebuilt in CGI. Packaging type, chocolate colour and brand world rules are not left to the model's mercy. This layer is the difference between "an AI video" and "an ad film".
4. Launch: formats and first seconds
From here on it is classic viral discipline: vertical first, a strong open, shareable curiosity. The recipe is in the viral piece.
An AI film is faster than classic production and cheaper in most scenarios, but it is not a wand; when to use AI versus CGI or a shoot depends on the project. Write yours into our AI ad film page and we will tell you which route makes sense, with reasons.
