01FOOH CAMPAIGNS

FOOH (fake out of home) is a giant 3D illusion built on real location footage, and depending on the idea it can also be produced entirely with AI. It creates an impossible moment in the city without any physical installation: our Suwen bus stop film alone reached 58 million views.

03SERVICE DETAILS

How FOOH is made

FOOH (fake out-of-home) is a social video built on real city footage, with giant products, objects or scenes added in CGI that aren't really there. On most of our projects our own team films the location, and the CGI element is placed into the footage to match the camera move, light and shadows. Depending on the brief, we also produce FOOH with AI, on the desktop or on top of existing footage.

FOOH formats

  • A giant product on a city landmark: Galata, the Bosphorus, the Maiden's Tower
  • Bus stop, billboard and building façade takeovers
  • Mall and store illusions
  • Products in natural landscapes, in locations like Cappadocia
  • AI FOOH: fast variations on the desktop or on existing footage

What shapes the budget

FOOH has no billboard rental or physical installation in the city; the budget goes into producing the idea. Paid social distribution is planned separately. These items shape the quote:

  • The complexity of the idea and the detail of the CGI element
  • Number of locations and shots
  • Number of versions and formats: vertical, horizontal
  • Revision rounds and schedule
  • Music, sound and usage rights

Why Clytech?

We have produced FOOH on Istanbul's iconic locations and in six regions of Turkey: our SUWEN bus stop film passed 58 million views, and the campaign we brought to life for PUBG Mobile's 100th anniversary in İzmir, Ankara, Mardin, the Black Sea region, Antalya and Istanbul passed 30 million. Everything from location scouting to the social edit stays with our own team.

05FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you need filming permits for FOOH?

It depends on the location and how it's filmed. When permits are needed, we obtain them, or on some projects the brand does; we clarify this during planning.

How long does a FOOH project take?

The complexity of the idea, the number of locations and approval rounds set the timeline; we confirm it after the brief. When you need to ride the news cycle, AI FOOH can be a faster option.

What's the difference between FOOH and a 3D billboard?

A 3D (anamorphic) billboard plays on a physical screen and is watched on site; FOOH is a video produced on real location footage and watched on social media.

Do you guarantee views?

No; nobody can honestly promise that. What we deliver is an idea designed to be shared and a believable production. We show our results with the platforms' own counters.

Where do you produce FOOH?

We work across Turkey, starting with Istanbul, and abroad; we produced the PUBG Mobile campaign in six regions.
